I had to call when coming back from holiday on a Sunday about an emergency abscess and (unlike my usual dental experiences) it was absolutely amazing. After seeing a photo taken on my mobile phone, Colin was able to diagnose and write up a prescription while still in the car travelling - and even directed me to a local pharmacy where I could get it filled. By the same evening, the pain was 90% gone and a day later almost non-existent (I had been suffering for 48 hours before getting to the extreme point where I needed to call). Wish I could award more stars, or nominate this guy for his fantastic customer service! Highly recommended.

The best dentist I have ever been too, I hadn’t been for many many years, I was terrified but Colin was excellent, I had to have teeth removed and he made sure I was ok all the way through and I can honestly say I didn’t feel a thing. Colin is amazing, I will certainly be recommending to friends and family in future

It was very reassuring to hear about both my overall dental hygiene and the thankfully very few specific issues. It is also extremely helpful to receive a second opinion on other dental advice that I am receiving which enables me to make informed decisions about the best approach for me.

I had my first dental appointment with Colin at Thorpe Lea Dental. I highly recommend this dental practice. All the staff were very friendly and attentive and have been since my first interaction with them over the phone. Extremely thorough examination and an honest feedback of the work to be done. Exceptional dental care provided by whole team at Thorpe Lea Dental. Dr.Collin and Libby Brown takes care of my entire family. I was nervous patient too when I started and I'm no longer. I feel more confident now. Thanks to the entire team including Laura, Sarah,Panang. I'm leaving this review after 3 years with this dental practice and wish them best of luck.

The best dental surgery I have been to. Spotlessly clean, very professional and my dentist James puts me at ease whenever I visit. Air purifying machines in every room and follow strict Covid protocols. If you are lucky enough to sign on with them they will look after you

I've been a client of Colin and Thorpe Lea Dental for something like 30 years - still have all my own teeth, which has to be a great endorsement in itself!Wouldn't go anywhere else - and now I live in Germany, I have to fly back to visit him :)

Can not recommend Colin and the team highly enough. Colin has been my dentist my whole life and I travel from London for my visits. They are professional and genuinely nice people, and I was especially impressed with the measures they’ve brought in folllwing the pandemic

I always feel relaxed when i have an appointment here. It has a calm feeling and you can talk to the very pleasant and professional staff. James takes his time to explain what needs doing and is very good. Certainly the only dentist for me, and most of my friends too.

An excellent service. Our dentist James was incredibly patient with my 2 year old son, who was upset at being there but had a thorough check up. He then diligently answered the questions I had about my own care. Would recommend as a great dentist for a family.

During my initial Invisalign consultation with Colin his attitude was positive, and he was certain that he would be able to improve my teeth, which was welcomed after condescending and disparaging comments from other dentists and orthodontists. Within 18 months my treatment was completed and the end result was far better than I had expected. All the staff are very approachable, and it is great to have found such a professional dental practice.

Your knowledge is quite impressive but you also have the ability to describe your treatments with great clarity. You went above and beyond in your service to our whole family, coming in on a Saturday just to help me out. And you helped me connect to a dentist when we moved back to California to ensure continuity of care. By the way, the dentists in Los Angeles were impressed with your approach and the treatment plan you had for me. Colin is a perfectionist, and he has a gentle and caring manner. He uses the latest technology and I always feel I am in good hands. I'm so relaxed in the dental chair that I've even fallen asleep during a crown procedure! The practice is also run extremely efficiently.

I have been a patient of Colin Houston for 5 years. He corrected a number of problems that had occurred before I came with deteriorating old fillings and sensitive gums ultimately returning my teeth to good health. I then proceeded to have some straightening work over 8 months which was immensely successful. I am very grateful for the return of good health and a more attractive appearance. Thank you ColinPS I very much enjoyed watching the movies whilst treatment progressed!
