It is our practice policy to give patients full information about the cost of their dental work before any treatment is undertaken.
An estimate of the cost of a particular treatment will be determined by a number of factors including the complexity of the case, materials chosen and treatment type. The dentist will discuss the treatment and pricing options with you and a printed estimate will be provided for you to review before you opt for treatment.
Our price guide will give you guidelines on the cost of our services. If you have any questions regarding treatment or pricing please ask one of the dentists who will be happy to discuss it with you.
We are committed to providing you with the highest quality dental care using only the best material and technology available in the market today. We are also committed to providing you with up-to-date information and educational tools so that you may fully participate in maintaining optimum oral health.
We offer patients a range of payment options, depending on their needs.
Ease of Payment For your convenience we accept cash, cheque, and all major credit/debit cards. If you prefer to budget for your essential dental care, you may join our Dental Membership Plan, which provides the option of a monthly payment scheme.
Payment Policy
We try to make payment as straightforward as possible. Our normal policy is that patients are asked to pay a deposit prior to the commencement of treatment and a proportion of the cost each visit until the treatment is completed. Patients are respectfully requested to keep their account in credit by settling the payment that is due at each visit.
Cancellations and Missed Appointments
We have designed our financial policy to be fair to all patients and believe that lost revenue through late cancellations or missed appointments should not be born by other patients of the practice in the form of fee increases. It is therefore our policy that a charge will be made for late cancellations or missed appointments. Please give at least 24 hours notice if you must cancel or change your appointment so that we may offer the time to someone else. We currently charge these appointments at a rate of £20 per 15 minutes of surgery time.
The charge will be applied to your account and you will be notified in writing. Payment will be due immediately and we regret that we will be unable to continue with further dental care until the account is settled.
In the case of genuine emergency, we reserve the right to use our discretion in waving the charge.
Hygiene Appointments
Our normal business policy is to request payment in advance for all routine hygiene appointments. When you arrange your next hygiene appointment we will ask that you pay the fee for a routine hygiene visit and will credit your account accordingly.
If you are unable to attend for your appointment, the charge will be made for the time allocated to you. In the case of genuine emergency, we reserve the right to use our discretion in waving the charge.
Dental Membership Plan
Many patients choose to join the Dental Membership Plan - our pay-monthly membership scheme. We believe that offering this plan is the best way of making treatment affordable without compromising our high quality of care. Dental Membership Plan patients also benefit from discounts on a range of treatments. Please ask at the Practice for further information.
Dental Care Finance Options
We believe that dental care should be affordable. We are able to offer several dental care finance options, which allow patients to spread the cost of their dental treatment over an extended period. Dental care finance offers you greater flexibility and more choice for your dental care.
Estimated Fees
Dentistry is not a precise science, therefore all fees are estimates. Clinical findings at the time of operation may cause planned treatments to change and therefore estimated fees to alter. The Practice reserves the right to alter, abort or change treatment as such clinical findings dictate, so that at all times the patient’s best interest are served. We will advise you should deviations from estimated fees occur.
Concerns about Finance
If you have any concerns regarding your dental treatment or payment of your account, please discuss them with us at your earliest convenience.
